tranny & Brake questions......Coyotekid 09-25-2003, 03:41 PM hey everyone.....i've got a couple of questions..... 1.) where can i come by a 4 spd tranny for a 68' Chevelle?(new or rebuilt) 2.) where can i aqquire a conversion kit to change my front drums to disc? perferably a kit that came with 2'' drop spindles, and all of the hardware included (master cylinder, power brake booster, brake lines, calipers, ext.....) any help here would be hot... peace Coyotekid 67chevelle 10-21-2003, 11:50 AM a company called hotchkis performance sells disc brake conversions, however the only thing it doesnt come with is the power booster and master cylinder, you can get that from original parts group ra11585643 11-22-2003, 03:50 AM I dont know what type 4 speed your looking for but i would check the junk yards for a Cast Iron Muncie. Muncie, Saginaw, Borg Warner T-10 and Super T-10.
