New photos of #007 - it's got no eyes....Peloton25 09-22-2003, 02:39 PM We know this car well... it was spotted on Newbury St. in Massachusetts wherever that is. The driver was supposedly in the Louis Vuitton store. http://users.westelcom.com/paepkec/f1/img_1192%20(Medium).jpg http://users.westelcom.com/paepkec/f1/img_1191%20(Medium).jpg http://users.westelcom.com/paepkec/f1/img_1190%20(Medium).jpg http://users.westelcom.com/paepkec/f1/img_1188%20(Medium).jpg http://users.westelcom.com/paepkec/f1/img_1187%20(Medium).jpg http://users.westelcom.com/paepkec/f1/img_1186%20(Medium).jpg http://users.westelcom.com/paepkec/f1/img_1184%20(Medium).jpg http://users.westelcom.com/paepkec/f1/img_1183%20(Medium).jpg http://users.westelcom.com/paepkec/f1/img_1182%20(Medium).jpg http://users.westelcom.com/paepkec/f1/img_1181%20(Medium).jpg http://users.westelcom.com/paepkec/f1/img_1179%20(Medium).jpg http://users.westelcom.com/paepkec/f1/img_1178%20(Medium).jpg The car looks to have been nicely detailed. Maybe it is for sale. ;) :D I assume the headlight covers will be replaced. That's got to do a number on the aerodynamics at high speed. The buyer needs to deduct a few thousand to cover those scratches on the rear wheel though. ;) At least it gets driven. >8^) ER Stratoraptor 09-22-2003, 02:47 PM without the covers, there is no glare. this appeals to me as very photogenic cuz it looks aggressive and mean-looking. still if i was the owner, i wouldnt leave the head lamps uncovered simply cuz i think its bad taste...like getting rid of the rear view mirrors or something... McLaren Superfan 09-22-2003, 02:49 PM v. nice!! how lucky were those ppl, didnt see an owner in sight thou? poor mclaren had no1 to look after it from those ppl, i'l b there next time to make sure! McLaren Superfan 09-22-2003, 04:49 PM sorry for posting again, but i'm still in a state of shock at how amazing the f1 looks in those pics, mite b cos of lack of headlight covers, but still looks supreme!!!! McLaren F1 Guy 09-22-2003, 04:54 PM Isn't this car owned by Frank Seldorff? Thats what it said in "F1s in the U.S.A" and thats what it says on my master index.......... mini magic 09-22-2003, 04:57 PM yes we know, i have a master index too, no need to brag Peloton25 09-22-2003, 05:50 PM Isn't this car owned by Frank Seldorff? The only reason I didn't mention it is because everyone here knows that already. :p This is also the car that jomo went to check out so I'd assume it's for sale. Wonder why he doesn't have a big for sale sign in the window or his number written in white shoe polish on the side?? :D EDIT: And it's Selldorff with two 'L's btw... http://www.motorsport.com/photos/scca-wc/2003/ra/sccawc-2003-ra-rs-0110.jpg >8^) ER jomo12345 09-24-2003, 03:41 PM The only reason I didn't mention it is because everyone here knows that already. :p This is also the car that jomo went to check out so I'd assume it's for sale. And it is for sale Stratoraptor 09-24-2003, 05:07 PM he must have been driving pretty fast to get the head lamp covers sucked off the car. we all know how fast XP5 went and im pretty sure that the covers stayed on after the run. jomo12345 09-24-2003, 05:13 PM he must have been driving pretty fast to get the head lamp covers sucked off the car. we all know how fast XP5 went and im pretty sure that the covers stayed on after the run. But im possitive that its him Peloton25 09-24-2003, 07:31 PM Never having met him personally, only seeing photos of him from the web, I too can identify the owner. One easy clue is that he's one of just a handful of people who aren't mesmerized by the sight of the car. :lol2: >8^) ER jomo12345 09-24-2003, 07:33 PM Never having met him personally, only seeing photos of him from the web, I too can identify the owner. Here is Frank: http://www.speedvisionwc.com/bios/fselldorff.html Peloton25 09-25-2003, 02:27 PM gerd - the owner is seen in the 3rd photo, I promise. As for jomo's credibility, he provided a photo of him and his dad with Frank and the LM - what more do you want?? Also, now that I think about it, we haven't seen any proof of who you are either... >8^) ER jomo12345 09-25-2003, 03:45 PM gerd - the owner is seen in the 3rd photo, I promise. The only guy that looks possible is sitting on the bench. As for Jomo, I know one of Frank's cars is for sale. But I haven't seen any poics. Are they online?
