Ooooooohh Booooyyyy!!!!!fastrThanU 12-04-2001, 01:56 AM hmmmm..... how's this sound? i'm thinking of doing fiberglass cowl induction hood with a Weiand tunnel ram intake and dual quads on the chevelle. the cowl will be about 2.5-3 inches. it'll take the place of the current stock steel hood and dual plane/4bbl. setup. DVSNCYNIKL 12-04-2001, 10:18 AM I'd actually like to see pics of your car and this project if you happen to have any. :D fastrThanU 12-04-2001, 10:49 AM i'll get some pics up. i don't have a scanner, so i'll find one to borrow. I believe it is a 70 also. Red with Black stripes. DemonZX 12-05-2001, 02:02 PM Hey man...Sounds good to me. BEASTLY! blacksnake98 12-05-2001, 03:27 PM That's gonna look awesome man...you gotta post some pics. flylwsi 12-06-2001, 08:28 PM depending on the height of the tunnel, you may need a taller hood... have you measured all of that? that rise sounds mild... especially when you look at in from under the hood... a 2 in rise is really only like 1.25in underneath... my friend just got one for his nova, and it is tall, but not underneath, and his hood is like 10 lbs... has to use dzus fasteners to keep it on... fastrThanU 12-07-2001, 02:54 AM i think that the 3 inch cowl will work, as i'm running a small block, and it's only a tunnel ram, not a hi-rise. i haven't taken exact measurements, but if it doesn't fit, i'll just do a bigger cowl or a shorter intake. flylwsi 12-07-2001, 08:36 PM i just figured i would throw the idea out there, im sure it will fit, but it would suck to have to get a different hood... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
