A good way to test it would be to connect the positive and the negative to the battery and see if you are getting power. -=BOOMER=- 09-19-2003, 06:24 PM I thought the same thing with mine so I called asked the dealership, the fan only comes on after the engine temp reaches a high operating tempratue. If you want to test let the car idle for about 7 minutes and watch the fan. It only turns on when its needed to bring the temp down. hope this helps. michaelsd16c 09-19-2003, 06:46 PM I thought the same thing with mine so I called asked the dealership, the fan only comes on after the engine temp reaches a high operating tempratue. The fan should turm on a little at 172 full at 194f. To check if your fan switch work's uplug it for the water pump assmbley and stick a paper in the hole(2) just bend the paper clip into a U with the two point going into the hole, with that the fan should turn on. If not then check the fuse in the ECU. 90CRXZCSi 09-19-2003, 08:35 PM there are two fans underneath the hood. Turn on the A/C for a while until the motor gets reaaaalll hot. That should tell you if its working or not. 2fast2serious 09-20-2003, 03:19 AM thanks for the reply of help.i will try those ideas tomorrow.one for sure is i let the car sit running for over 15 mins and no go so it's not that.i'll try the testing to battery and paper clip thingy. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
