I am in US. I checked out the car yesterday, it’s in mint condition. I will be making the offer tonight.
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Richard,

im no expert on US prices, being based in the UK, but $50k seems reasonable for what seems like a very clean car with such low mileage. Does the price strike you as low or high? You should have some idea if you've been checking out other 993's. If not, i suggest you do.

But $50k seems very reasonable to me. Of course, a seller never expects to get what he/she advertises the car for, so go in with a lower bid. And good luck, its an awesome car!

Thanks for your advice,
The owner originally asked for $45k than raised to $50 after some buyers showed strong interested.
I am not a collector who will buy it and preserve it. I would like to buy a reliable 911 that I will take very good care of it and also can enjoy it during the weekend without worrying break down.
Can you tell me how rare this car is? How does it compare to 1993 RS America ? I am trying to decide between this car and 1993 rs America with same mileage. The RS America is asking for $44k by the dealer. I was originally more interested in the C4s but now the price has gone higher I am a bit of hesitating.
Here is the RS America

The C4S is not a rare car. But id never heard of the RS America until now. If it's basically a US edition of the 964RS then it's a great car. But it has a much rawer character than the C4S so beware. Out of these two i'd go for the C4S because i dont really like the look of that RS America, but they're both great cars. Also, im a little dubious of a car thats gone 15k in a decade. Keep us up to date with developments :)

You are right. The C4s was sold for 50k yesterday... It's okay because I was planning on offering 46k. I will go check out the RS America this weekend. In the carfax report that RS America has two owners. It has around 7k miles in 19997 when sold to the second owner and 12k on 2003. I will keep you posted.
Thanks,
Richard

So what's happened? Did you check out the RS America?

No… I didn’t go check out the RS America, I changed my mind.
Look what I end up with http://www.wheelzinc.com/
It’s the 94 turbo 3.6 on the right of homepage. I couldn’t be happier. The dealer is great to work with. This car has one owner who traded it in for a 2002 turbo.
I drove up there last Saturday and test-drove the car. The interior and exterior is perfect. I have the dealer brought the car to a local Porsche dealer to have a round down inspection on Tuesday. The mechanic condition is in very good shape, the only thing need to be taken care is a little leak on the valve seal which according to the dealer is a very normal wear for 9 years car.
I did some research on the history of 94 turbo and found the total production of this car is around 400 and 266 in US but not sure if it’s correct.
The car was delivered this morning in a closed trailer. I had only spent 10 minutes with her in the garage before I left for work.
I will take more pictures and post them once I got home tonight.
Thanks for following up on my car shopping experience! I am done for a long while!
