Yoko ES100's nuff said! :naughty: That's what I'm rolling on with my car.

But seriously, it all depends on your driving style, If you aren't a speed or cornering deamon, then save yourself some $$$ and don't bother with high performance tires unless you actually plan on using them to what they are designed for. The ES100's really are great tires though, They are quiet which is nice on long drives, they handle well in BOTH wet and dry conditions. Their cornering grip is excellent, and they are very neat looking tires as well, almost a stright squared off like sidewall to them! :smokin:

You summed it up well Silver but me i'm a dunlop man so i'm going to say them they get loud when there on the end of there life but still dig in like no other but the ES is pretty much the same.

Im rolling on the Falken 512's and they been good to me so far. Not too loud and not ultra expensive either. My handling would be much better if I lower my car though so I'm not really using them to the max yet. My friend has some es100s and they're great tires as well so good luck with your choice.

Depends on how much money you are going to spend and what kind of driving you intend to do.
I always recommend Pirelli's, always.

I hate to break it to you, but Pirellis get very low marks on almost any tire comparison I've seen. Even something like Falken Azenis are better handling tires than P-Zeros are, but of course they aren't Z rated like the Zeros. But to each their own, get what works best for you.

Oh, I know Pirelli's aren't always the best in comparison tests.
My first set of Pirelli's didn't last that long but I loved the tread pattern and sidewall appearance. I liked the grip. Couldn't afford to replace with Pirelli's so I got Continental (for an '88 BMW 325) summer tires which weren't too bad.

I just purchased Ventus Hankook HRII 205/40/17 for $200 off ebay speed rated H, temp A, traction A, and 340 wear. But that's hella cheap and if I would've had the money I would've bought Nitto's or Perreli's

I hope you didn't buy your tires yet. I suggest Hoosier slicks. Just stay away from rain, snow, ice, and public roads.

Falken Azenis, they are the slickest street legal tire I have ever driven on, and for the price they cant be beat.

Hmm, I saw those on a WRX STI the other day. They look very cool. I wouldn't want to be caught on wet roads through, they seem to be not have a lot of "water channels" to prevent hydroplanning.

Kumho is coming on strong. Put a set of all-season 695's on one of my old BMW's. Good as any tires it's had in over 200,000 original and only $45 each.

The high performance models are similarly cheap since Dumho is still making its reputation in the U.S.
