Just as cheap and effective to just import a 4WD Attessa instead... DET20 04-06-2004, 01:01 AM I am having the same problem as you bro, i have a Sr20det with an AWD transmission, however i dont want to go all wheel drive i will just settle for FWD, have you heard of anyone who used the AWD tranny as a FWD leaving the DIFF disconnected if so how does the car perform i've heard that alot of the power is distributed to the rear wheels fraz 04-17-2004, 05:16 AM graf , you can do it but you need pretty much a complete donor car. Everything needs to be swapped, even things like the shifter, exhaust, rear suspension/crossmember etc. Its possible but not worth the money of just buying one already done. det20, the power is sent to the front wheels and when there is wheelspin, the back wheels hook up.
