I am sorry for your loss jay, i myself got my car stolen on monday last week, but i was fortunate to have it back 30mins after it was taken, dumb asses got lost tryin to get out of my neighborhood and got picked up by the cops. I got seriously lucky, all i have to fix is the steering colum and buy a new ignition switch and covering plastic.

Welcome to the boards Newbie...errr...I mean Matt (Kaanon) glad to hear you got your car back 30 minutes later. Like you said, you seriously lucked out.

The only time that I know of that someone tried to steal my car was at back in...probably March or April 01. We went to the Spectrum in Irvine and watched a movie. Got out of the movie hella late and when we went back to the car, my passengers just got right in. I told them I locked the car and then when I went to my door, I could see that they put my window out. Unlocked all the doors but didn't take a damn thing. I'm thinking either they got scared because you know how crowded it is there...or they saw a nicer car than mine :iceslolan
