my brother has a 1993 Toyota camry le and i was going to change the system for him and i was wondering if someone could tell me how to change the speakers and the headunits.....oh and info for a 1998 camry le, and a 02 camry le would help too they're all 4 cyls if helps :uhoh:

but i got another problem anyone got the wireing diagram for the 94' camry im installing my friends radio for him and when i took his old radio out the fawker that installed his other headunit cut everything up so i need the wire diagram DOH!!!! thanks guys!!

I can't speak for Camry's, but on my car, thats all you have to do. Just be careful of those little clip/tab thingys behind the plastic that hold it in there. A small screwdriver should work to release all tabs/clips holding the dash panel on. Be sure to unscrew any screws, sometimes they are well hidden so check carefully.

That definately helps a lot, but I'm still curious as to how I remove that U-shaped dash panel that goes around the tape deck. Can I just pry it off with a flat head or screwdriver?

For the gen 4 head unit, it can be removed by taking a flat headed screwdriver and prying around the trim around the unit and heater control and depress the clips. Remove the panel, and around the head unit, you will see four bolts retaining it, take those out, and pull it out of the dash board. You'll need the brackets off the side of the unit or else you won't be able to install the new one right.
