need some dirty race car pics

hi guys,
i am thinking of weathering my porsche 956 (err, mainly to hide some little errors . . .) and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some reference pics of really dirty racing cars (not rally cars- its a different "type" of dirt) so that i could make it look like the car had just finished the '84 le mans race. Doesnt matter what cars they are, as long as they are dirty!
I've got lots of weathering experience from 1/35th military models, i just need to know where to put it :smokin:

Basically you will see 2 kinds of "dirt" on racetrack-cars after a 24 hour race : tire pick-up (which you will find mostly on the nose-bonnet-windshield) and brakedust (which you see mostly behind the wheel arches and the rear of the car).

If you want to make it look extra realistic, don't forget to add the "handling spots", i.e. the places where the mecanics have touched the car while refuelling or changing tires, and where the gloves have kinda removed the dust or at least made some patterns in the dust...

Also don't forget that racenumbers and the windshield are always cleaned during a pitstop so they are never as dirty as the rest of the car.

although it has to be said i am now in two minds as to wether or not to risk weathering it as it looks a lot better than i thought it would after finishing the decals . . .
