Well, I'm more of an import guy, but I love muscle cars too. My girlfriend is in the market for a new car. So I started searching and the only thing in her price range that seems decent is this '72 Pontiac Lemans, 455 V8, turbo 350, GT Grant, 2 sets, wheels and tires. That's what the ad says. She loves the car, at least for the looks. I'm just curious what you guys thought about the LeMans? Is there a lot of aftermarket? Lots of potential?

A Lemans is the same body style as the Chevelle, Cutlass, etc. So plenty of parts available.
As far as engines go, Pontiac street engines are hard to beat. Plenty of parts available for them, both stock and aftermarket. You can build all the power you want.

I agree. There is plenty of parts for the GM A-Body out there (Lemans, GTO, Chevelle, 442, GS, etc.) and it has a Pontiac 455 to boot. Just be sure that it is the original engine. If it is, it might actually be worth something some day if restored.
