Ive got a 92 accord ex, and now a lot of brake noise. It began with just squealing when stopping, but now when i make right turns at any speed i hear a horribly nasty grinding noise coming from the front drivers side wheel. What could possibly be causing this?

change ur pads...the metal wear sensor is hitting the rotor....

I would guess there is something stuck in between the pad and rotor.

i think u have a bad wheel bearing. find a road that have no car and try jerk the steering left n right and listen for the noise. if only hear it when jerking to the right and not the left then u most likely have a bad left front wheel bearing.

:screwy: Sounds like CB joints to me... Does it make clicking noise?

Your pads will stop making that noise when you break a prong sensor off, Driving about 80 MPH and slamming on breaks will do the job. Also make sure its safe to slam on your breaks (other cars behind you) :evillol:

If it did stop it could also be brake dust! :eek7: :grinno:

i took it all apart last night and found that it was the rear drivers side brakes making the noise. And not only were the pads worn to shit, but my caliper is stuck, my rotor is warped, and i have a stripped bolt so i cant take part of the caliper off. not my day. any suggestions on how to take out a stripped bolt??

u could either use a vise grip plier or pound a smaller size socket in to loosen it.
