After primeing its not smooth at all. How can i correct this? Its been about 8 hours since i sprayed it. The pic is in poor lighting since its 3am right now i cant really take it outside. The pic is also a little blurry since i had to shrink it but hopefully it will give you guys an idea of whats wrong.

just give the whole thing a rub down with fine wet and dry paper, about 1200 grit. shouldnt take long, you'll get a better finish if you use it wet. dont worry about it, it looks pretty normal.

Will it be ok to sand it tomorrow or should i leave it for a day or 2?

yeah you should leave the primer about 24 hours before you rub it down :licka:

I usually leave for a week to shrink properly before any sanding... :2cents:

Don't sand it too smooth and shiny or your paint won't stick to it.

Just a quick addition. I use the Scotch-Brite abrasive pads to buff up the primer when it looks like this. I find that the white or blue ones work best, because the grey or green ones tend to leave all sorts of 'crap' all over the surface. You can probably find them at a large grocery store or a department store like walmart.
