Code 24 - TPS Out of Range Troubleshooting

I'm getting an engine code 24 on a 1995 Dodge Neon which is telling me the TPS voltage is out of range. I'm trying to reset the engine code to get the Check Engine light to shut off. Then I was planning to wiggle the wires to see if it comes back on. I'm hoping for a loose connection.

Can anyone tell me how to reset the code so I can get the Check Engine light to shut off so I can perform this test?

I'll be driving along and the car bucks something fierce and loses a lot of power when it happens. I've almost been rear ended a couple of times so I'm not driving it until I can get this resolved.

Anybody ever replace a TPS on a Neon?

TIA,
Paul

I replaced my TPS 2 years ago. To reset your codes, you can either pull out the fuel pump fuse for a few seconds or disconnect the battery for a few minutes. I think the TPS cost around $50 or so...I would have to dig up my checkbook to see. Get a Mopar one from the dealer, they are more expensive but I have had too many AutoZone or aftermarket parts have problems with fitment issues or not lasting me but a month.
