theyre all just different measurements of power. there is a conversion method but i dont know it off the top of my head

Horse power is an amercian standard measurement. While Kilowats was a british standard.

1 kw = 1.341022 hp

PS if memory serves me right is a European/German measurement. It is just a shad under hp like .9821 hp.
