Canadian Registrationfirefighter81 08-29-2003, 08:19 PM Ok, since as of August 2004, 1989 Nissan Skyline GT-R's will be legal in Canada this opens a new "possible" backdoor.... Could I somehow have the car registered in Canada (perhaps to a storage unit) without being a Canadian resident? Then bring the car over to the USA every once in a while just for fun? I'd be more than willing to pay the $100/month storage unit fee, while I'm saving up to pay Motorex. I'm sure this has been thought of, not breaking new grounds here, but I haven't seen this asked here before, and I'm just looking for confirmation either way. Thanks, Jason firefighter0143 05-06-2004, 06:54 PM there has to be back doors!!!!!! i heard you can buy cars from canada and bring it to us....but i don't know about a jdm car...cause of the right hand drive.......but damn!!!! i've seen these old mail cars around that people buy from the goverment and there on the right side...... YogsVR4 05-06-2004, 06:58 PM Good luck getting a Candian registration (which ever province) while not being a resident. Thats going to be your catch.
