I have a 2.7 that I had the timing chains replaced. I have been told that I should have had the water pump replaced also. Anyway how much do you charge for the upgrades.

If you have a car with a 2.7 get rid of it as fast as possible.

That's easier said than done. I would love to get rid of it but finances won't allow for that right now.

I have been told of many people who have had troubles with the timing chain goin out @ 51,000 or so miles. I had the same trouble. synthetic oil is the best for this particular engine, the cause of timming chain failure is due to sludge buildup. this should get you a longer service life.
