used NSX? go as long as a civic94tegRS 08-29-2003, 05:28 AM ok, I cant afford this right now but have been dreaming of owning one ever since I became old enough to know what a car was. and I was looking around on autotrader for the fun of it and saw this one for 29k also a stock one for 29 with only 90k http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/vdetail.jtmpl?car_id=132079393&dealer_id=&car_year=1992&make=ACURA&distance=100&max_price=35000&model=NSX&end_year=2004&advcd_on=n&min_price=&address=90026&search_type=used&advanced=n&start_year=1991&color=&cardist=19 sounds pretty good. its a 92 with $3k wheels/tires, $1.5k exhaust, and $2k suspension. has records for last few years, but it has 122k miles, would a NSX run to say- over 200k like about every other honda. also anyone know websites that sell parts for this car, like when wanting to rebuild the engine. NSX FoYoAss 09-10-2003, 05:35 PM There is plenty of info on www.NSXPrime.com that will answer all your questions! Yes, very reiable if well maintained! Also, here are a few vendors for the NSX... www.daliracing.com www.scienceofspeed.com many more on NSXPrime. Regards Z NSXN8 09-11-2003, 03:23 AM With both cars taken care of equally, the NSX would go much much longer!!! Somewhere i read that a magazine, published in '97, rated the NSX as the most reliable 6 year old car on the road!!! For a sports car, that is Phenomenal!!!! Meeyatch1 12-10-2003, 11:06 PM Keep your dream alive and you will get the NSX if you stay focused. Trust me. I did it. The NSX is very reliable when maintained properly. Here is what mine have on them now: '91 NSX-- 115,000 miles (approx.) '94 NSX-- 72,000 miles (approx.) I know of others with over 200,000 miles that run fine. It is all in the care and feeding of your NSX. :D Spectre927 12-13-2003, 01:38 AM Shoot, and you didn't even stop at 1, you had to get two. I see a few of them around here, I would love to get one, but they are costly for a college kid, but hey thats what college is for, once I get out, I should be good. Yes, I loved the NSX so much I bought two. Quite seriously I would buy a third one if I could ever find the one I want for sale. In 1991 they made ONLY 6 of the Sebring Silver/ Ivory interior color combination with a manual gearbox. I know they exist, but I have never seen one and would buy it in a second. You can never have too many NSX's. :D MR2Driver 02-15-2004, 03:26 PM You sound like your average MR2 owner Meeyatch1 vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
