I raced a Mazda Protage5 wagon tonight

it was a good race and since I have not street raced in a long time. It was a good race to come back in on. now since I did not check my car when I got it or check anything since ive Had it I Check my spark plugs to see what keep the person before me put in there. will I look at spark plug and they was all Fired all of them looked like they was BBQ. anyway i chg them and I did a TB coolant Bypass.


So we are at stop light and I start to drive Normal and the guy starts to rev and roll and then drops it. I had my gurl with me so I was not about to look like a bitch so I dropped it 1st gear neck and neck 2nd gear I pull by a hood 3rd gear he was smoked about 1/2 a car to a car thats what my gurl said I never take eyes off road when racing ( Have to look for cops lol) it was a good race and I had fun going to track friday so I will have new timeslips to post :grinyes:

well both cars run near identical times (car-stats.com)

So, it's definitely possible. Is the civic still stock?

You might want to check more than your spark plugs. :eek7:

protege5 highs are not in sport compact speed its in handling. Which it does very well. My 01 corolla s eats it in a race every time whether I launch late or not.

j/k, wut'd u end up running at the track? finally break into the 16s?

I did so bad at track I am not going to post, The best I got was 17.1 but I think it is bc I pull my air intake off so I was pullin all hot air plus it had been raining so I could not stop wheel spin in 1st and 2nd gear

It started to rain alittle bit at track and they let me run with super wet track and I still pulled a 17.3 one of my best runs all night. I fixed some shit on my car and am going again friday and I will post those slips
