Dual halo projector headlights helpcstyle13 08-23-2003, 01:42 PM I have a 97 accord. I recieved my projector headlights. But i have a problem with the wiring. There are extra pos and neg wires along with the factory light clip. Where do i hook theres wires up too. Ricochet 08-23-2003, 02:36 PM Your turn signal wires. I know on my Civic there are three going to the signal bulb and it will most likely be the same on yours, or any car. One red (pos) one black (neg) and one green or some other color (for the blinking signal) but leave that one alone. You can either solder it or do a ghetto-tastic wire twisting job... cstyle13 08-23-2003, 02:47 PM i hooked the positives in with the proper factory light clips(the ones you snap the lights into) and the low beams come one but when i go to flip it to high beam the high beam dont light up Ricochet 08-23-2003, 02:59 PM i hooked the positives in with the proper factory light clips(the ones you snap the lights into) and the low beams come one but when i go to flip it to high beam the high beam dont light up So you plugged the halo lights into the regular light plug? That will suck the power away from them... Just wire the halos into your turn signals because I grounded my foglights at the same ground my headlights were, and the headlights were 1/2 as bright. Can you take some pictures? cstyle13 08-23-2003, 03:23 PM if i plug them into my turn signals wont they come on only when i use my turn signals? Ricochet 08-23-2003, 03:41 PM Didn't you read my post above? Your turn signal wires. I know on my Civic there are three going to the signal bulb and it will most likely be the same on yours, or any car. One red (pos) one black (neg) and one green or some other color (for the blinking signal) but leave that one alone. You can either solder it or do a ghetto-tastic wire twisting job... The third wire sends the signal for the bulb to blink, while the red/black wires are for power only. When your parking lights are on your halos will be on also. When you flip your signal on, the halos are still using the power from your parking lights and only the turn signal bulb blinks. cstyle13 08-23-2003, 03:43 PM Having problem getting my high beam to come on. Ricochet 08-23-2003, 03:49 PM Hmmm sure it's not the bulb? cstyle13 08-23-2003, 04:01 PM hooking into the turn signal didnt work. the lights blinked with the turn signal. i dont want to hook them up to the parking lights. any other suggestions? Ricochet 08-23-2003, 04:04 PM Your wiring must be different from mine, sorry about that. You could always take them straight to the battery with an inline switch... I don't know what else to suggest. cstyle13 08-23-2003, 04:13 PM hey thanks for all your help man vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
