To buy or not to buy??(93 white ex coup w/ 5spd)Ktulu 11-30-2001, 11:25 PM It has 117000 miles, clean history, needs new clutch though, He's asking 4300 which I can probably bring down. Other than the clutch the car is in really good shape, nice paint and trim, good tires, and a pioneer cd player. Other than the pioneer the car is stock. One thing though, it doesn't really want to go into 3rd smoothly every time. Does this mean that it was driven hard or does it just have worm out bushings or what? The seller is an asian college student. So should I go for it or what? Thanks in advance, Wesley:confused: b16b bomber 12-01-2001, 03:07 AM thats an ok deal....i say go for it Racing Rice 12-01-2001, 10:09 PM Doesnt sound bad... Especially if you can get him down alittle more. Id look around and compare it to some other cars that you find. Maybe get a machanic to take a look at it first and make sure Syncros arent going out but other then that a clutch isnt really a big deal, just a better reason to get a Hi-Performance clutch. Swonder67 12-01-2001, 11:36 PM An asian college student usually means that the car has been driven hard... you know how I know this??? I'm an asian college student. hahaha. Ktulu 12-02-2001, 06:58 PM lol swander. I went ahead and passed it up. This has been the 5th civic I've looked at, and although it was the cleanest, there was just something that seemed to say no. I don't really like the white ones anyway. Thanks for the replies, Ktulu vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
