GSR beat v6 stang?TW33 08-23-2003, 10:44 AM Im looking at buying a car and ive always liked integras. Theres a kid in town with a v6 mustang (auto) with borla? dual exhaust, a shift kit, probably cai, and maybe a chip. There is also a nice 3000gt non turbo around. I dont want to buy a car that is slower than those so i was wondering how a lightly modded integra gsr would do. thanks in advance for any info/opinions. civicHBsi91 08-23-2003, 10:54 AM if your a good driver the gsr would wax the v6 stang and you would beat the 3000gt knorwj 08-24-2003, 12:20 AM i've heard that unless its a vr-4 3000gt then they are much slower than a gs-r i forget the models though base and SL i think? banditkiller 08-24-2003, 12:20 AM you should....driver depending......win.....not so easily on the 3000gt....if its a 5spd....but you should win regardelss with the teg..... Barwick 08-25-2003, 04:54 PM you shouldn't have too much problems with it.. might be kinda close, but I don't know what V6 mustangs run with mods.. I don't know why people modify them, but oh well.. If you want to make sure, and you don't mind driving a RWD sports car that only holds 2 people, a couple grand and you have an RX-7 TurboII Bambooseven 08-26-2003, 05:36 AM I can edge out a STOCK AUTO v6 stang in an I/H/E d16y8 coupe, you'll be able to waste that one. Ricochet 08-26-2003, 12:05 PM I could rollerblade the 1/4 faster than a non-turbo 3000GT, and the V-6 Stang isn't worth the scrap metal it's made from unless it has a turbo on it. A stock GS-R will beat both of them, and I would know. My Civic Type R engine is about parallel with a GSR and I've swept both a 3000 and a 6'er. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
