She was revving her shit next to me at a light like she had something, so I even let her take off first and I caught up and passed her... Firebird, Camaro, and Mustang drivers who cannot afford a V8 should NOT BE RACING. I drive a 2001 GT Mustang, actually just got it 3 weeks ago.. Im gonna do the traditional headers, intake, and exhaust work but thats it.. it'll be a pretty bangin ride. already murders most of the stuff I see on the street thats not all souped up. Id like to get a cobra but the insurance is killer... GT for now.

not to talk smack but i'd bet that i could take you, it would be close though, 2001 gt is a 14.0 1/4 mile, i've gotten high 13s, the cobra is the stang to get though.

why would you spend the money to install headers? you do know that you have to lift the block out, just to fit them in right? as much as that would run you, you can get a lot more power, for less money. do some research

This is the first time that as a Hispanic I have been accused of being a redneck! (awesome!) The only reason I used this as my first post is because it got my attention (someone post this tread on a mustang forum). And since there was no Mustangs to defend the 4 banger I decided to post my two cents. So you can talk all the smack you want, it won't bother me. First-off, recognize that I am FAR from a Ford or even Mustang fan, but the ignorance here is annoying.

ONE) Those ARE functional scoops. That's a Mach-1 you're looking at. The newest Mustangs display the GT badge in the rear. I don't doubt that he smokes as many cars as he claims, since Mach-1's are capable of very-low 13's stock. Even the automatics.
