Vibration - Left Dash

Anyone had any problems with vibrations on the left dash panels from the engine at idle? Drives me nuts!

Yes, mine is in the upper left, by the VIN number. Pisses me off until the engine gets warm and idles smoother. I barely press on it and it goes away...

yah another one of those little things that pissed me off on my P11 too.

i took apart the dash and inserted a 3mm gasket on the left side. that took care of that noise. then I had a nother noise coming directly above the custer..which I took part the dash again to pinch in some cardboards Yah cardboards between the dash and the instrument panel which took care of that noise. then I have another buz come from the right side of the instrument cluster...which I fixed by taping the wiring onto a part of the inside of the dash to make it stop vibrating at about 1800rpm (one reason why it took me so long to finish my stereo install).

no noise now, wait another month or two. they need to redesign their engine mounts or something...or put a smoother engine.

Yep, that stupid temperature sensor/alarm light rattled like crazy until I got it fixed the other day. It seriously drove me nuts

Yeah, so is that dash part. Got it fixed anyways, gotta love dynamat tar :)

Now I got some major problem in my rear deck, like a high pitch squeek or something around the passanger rear. Still havent figure that one out, maybe my G20 is allive? I dunno, but I agree that the engine needs some work with vibration issues.:bandit:

hehe. time to take apart that door panel, huh?

it's pretty easy to do. pull off the plastic handle cover with a screw driver or something and then you'll see 2 screws that attaches the door handle to the door. take those off, pull on the inter panel from the bottom and take off the powerwindow harness. that's it.

rev up the engine a couple of times to see where the rattle's coming from...if not from the door, then it's your inter panel. (doh).
