96 S-10 Cranks but don't start

Can anyone help me troubleshoot a problem that occurred on my vehicle. The truck just died upon stopping at a red light. Upon trying to restart the vehicle I don't receive any oil pressure on my gauge (can't remember if any even shows up until the engine is started or not). Replaced oil pressure switch, checked oil levels, and fuses.

Any ideas on where to go next, with the exception of oil pump replacement.

Did you try changing the oil and oil filter first?
