is it ok for you to insult someone after you race themmynismo 08-17-2003, 12:04 AM just wondering... i wanted to completely rip apart this one ricer guy with a green license plate frame and his girl in the seat - why didn't i? lol DeViL 08-17-2003, 01:06 AM Thats really a tough call, for the most part no you don't want to act like a stuckup asshole. Even ricers don't deserve that treatment. I'd say the only time you should rub it in is when you line up with those "I'm a high school badass" punk kids, like the ones described in R1 Rider's sig. Wearing the visors upside down and backwards lol who started such a stupid trend? SiXPuSHA 08-17-2003, 09:57 PM Wearing the visors upside down and backwards lol who started such a stupid trend? That would be the highschool LAX boys... :headshake TatII 08-17-2003, 11:12 PM well i think you can save your breathe becasue if their tricked out car got beaten by a beater looking car, the girl will automatically find that soo funny, and that he will lose all self dignity and respect. -The Stig- 08-18-2003, 12:02 AM and that he will lose all self dignity and respect. dont forget puntang. carrrnuttt 08-18-2003, 01:56 AM well i think you can save your breathe becasue if their tricked out car got beaten by a beater looking car, the girl will automatically find that soo funny, and that he will lose all self dignity and respect. LOL. I've been on the serving side of those kind of encounters:grinyes:. See race numbers 3 and 4 in my thread that starts with "I'm gonna get flamed for this...".:evillol: Fliquer 08-18-2003, 08:56 AM is it ok for you to insult someone after you race them Only if you beat them through skill. I mean, unless there are some corners involved or the other guy mis-shifts then basically what you're saying is "Nya Nya my toy has more hop-ups than your toy. Har Har Har" TatII 08-18-2003, 09:43 AM Only if you beat them through skill. I mean, unless there are some corners involved or the other guy mis-shifts then basically what you're saying is "Nya Nya my toy has more hop-ups than your toy. Har Har Har" that is only true to a certain extent. however there are alot of poorly hopped up cars that are slower then their stock counter parts becasue of the cheap parts that they use. so therefore they are more hoped up but are also slower. flylwsi 08-18-2003, 10:29 AM if the guy thinks he's a badass... sure. say some shiet to him... but if it's just a fun race, and he doesn't look at you like he's gonna kill you, smile, laugh, wave. get over the angst. but if it's some dumbass trying to prove he's a badass... show him who's boss. like my encounter with some kid in a matrix. stock rims. big exhaust. 4 guys in the car, all ghetto fabulous. gets next to me getting on 480 W from state (there are 2 left turn lanes) talks shit. i disappear. slow to 75 once i'm on the freeway. he catches up, i disappear again. get off the freeway and he flies by throwing gang signs and what not. people like that deserve to get their shit talked down daily. anyone that looks at me with any sort of "i'm better than you" or "i'm gonna kill you" look deserves not only to get laughed at, but jacked in the face. they're the ones that kill the whole thing for everone. have fun. end of story. i usually don't race those guys on the street, i just drive better, or just on their ass, so they can't change lanes in front of me... Paonessa 08-18-2003, 12:39 PM it's always nice to end a race with a friendly "beep beep" and a thumbs up or peace sign out the window. i guess it's only nice if you're on the winning end though. YogsVR4 08-18-2003, 01:55 PM I think you’ll get more of a reaction out of them if you just give them a smug smile and wave. It'll burn them up. :iceslolan DMC12 08-18-2003, 05:02 PM Why would you insult someone after racing them? That would only lead to fights (fist, gun or otherwise). mynismo 08-18-2003, 05:32 PM gets next to me getting on 480 W from state (there are 2 left turn lanes) that stretch is great... :smokin: Why would you insult someone after racing them? That would only lead to fights (fist, gun or otherwise). i'm talkin guys that act badass and have a body kit and rims, or just all neons on their car, and absolutely nothing done to their engine, and they act like they have a fast car with the chicks hanging out the window thinking their guy has the fast car. why not play around with him and try to steal his chicks?? Amish_kid 08-18-2003, 05:37 PM I think you’ll get more of a reaction out of them if you just give them a smug smile and wave. It'll burn them up. :iceslolan That it does, just gotta make sure they got a girl in the car when you do it, also asking the girl to call you by hand signals will piss him off and make him think twice. Ace$nyper 08-18-2003, 07:34 PM sometimes its good to throw a line at someone like after i killed this riced out neon i'm like you just took an 17 second (bout my 1/4 time) ass pounding. If its a good race they get a thumbs up though. LjasonL 08-19-2003, 12:06 AM Why would you insult someone after racing them? That would only lead to fights (fist, gun or otherwise). :iamwithst -The Stig- 08-19-2003, 12:26 AM But Tom... If you've beaten them go ahead and insult them if you want. You already know your car is faster, if he wants to get confrontational then just dust him a 2nd time. :) DMC12 08-19-2003, 01:31 PM If they are an ass, then a bone-chilling insult is in order. I thought you were talking about just insulting someone decent... I'd never do that, except for friends who know I'm joking... but even then I have to be careful because it can be taken the wrong way for sure. Polygon 08-19-2003, 08:09 PM Why not just be civil about it? Around here nobody has a good attitude after you beat them and I am sick of seeing that. What is so hard about not being a sore looser or a modest winner? However; if they insult me, they are getting some back. sweetwhiteCAV 08-19-2003, 11:50 PM I think think that a snide remark like "nice car" or "whooo that was a close one" is about as far as i would go, but I never clown a guy in front of his girl, even if hes really askin for it.... but thats me, thats how i roll.... banditkiller 08-20-2003, 12:33 AM nothing wrong with feeling the need or desire to pumel or rip into those types of ppl.....which is about everym person ive ever raced.....but dont...its worthless......you have the satisfaction of knowing most likely....that you beat him....so just move on and find your next race......ive always tried to give some sort of wave or thumbs up after a race.......once i rolled down my window to give some congrats.......got yelled at.....ohh well...shit happens.......just my opinion Silencer_Nate 08-23-2003, 04:14 AM When I dust someone, even a ricer (who gives a decent race), I usually stop and ask them how they kept up for as long as they did, which puts you in a superior attitude-spot, but also gives them the feeling that they did well considering what they were up against. Ask what they've modded/etc. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
