Chevrolet said they will continue to make the S-10 crew cab along side the Colorado to meet the market demands.

I want to know when they said that because there is no advertising for 2004 s-10's and I also read an artice in the october TRUCKIN (they are way ahead on the months) on the mini-truck championship (which one is the best bang for the buck) and they said that they didnt include the s-10 because chevy had no plans of making the s-10 production line into 2004......

My guess is the sport model will be the next xtreme. Thats the one im getting. I thought the S10 was a gonner so any news other than that is sure to surprise some people. And i really hate where they are putting the xm recievers :disappoin bah

S-series production is limited to Crew Cabs for the '04 model year, and will stop entirely by January 1, 2004.

There's no Xtreme yet. The ZQ8 Sport is a little higher than an Xtreme and lacks a bodykit. They'll probably bring the Xtreme back in '05 as an '06 model, when I hear there's gonna be a turbocharger available on 5cyl models.

i just looked at one up close at the NASCAR race in Richmond Va. I must say i like the outside, but the inside sucked!!!! it had leather seats, which was ok. but the door panels, dash, power window switches and all, looked and felt cheap. there were no lighted mirrors on the sun visors, i dont recall map lights on the rear view, and the steering wheel left something to be desired. i certainly hope this isnt the case for all models. i, and a couple others i talked too that looked at it, felt as though the interior was a BIG step backwards.

In my opinion, interior's on a lot of cars have been... uncool

Chevy finally put up the info on Colorado on their website, i couldn't
get to it directly try GM.com and go to it ----the latest road test in USA
Today said it was a disappointment , not much bigger than a s-10 but
more power, and the 5 cylinder is std at a cost of 1000.00 plus till Jan. when the new 4 cyl is out.I like the looks but they are all getting too pricey for me....
