the entire front axle was scratch built, using a differential from the rear axle of a different lightning kit, and the unequal length axles were built from the parts trees/sprues, and the part where the wheel snaps on to, was from the other lightning rear axle. The leaf springs are from a monster truck actually. The axles will break before the springs. The leaf springs are about 4x as thick as the silverado ones.

update: I was test fitting everything together, and it seemed like everything was too "foward" and needed to be pushed back :banghead:
While i was holding it, the body slid off the frame, and i fumbled to catch the body, and dropped the frame/suspension, breaking the front axle in half, and knocked a leaf spring and mount off, and my steering system came off with it too. And im out of super glue :crying:
