sub - mid 16's in a 97 LX sedan, not possible right?94tegRS 08-14-2003, 01:08 AM ok, I saw a accord wihjt boltons only hit a 17.1 and I am pretty sure it was an EX even, but my LX is bone stock and has 111k on it, anyways, my hatch I have I ran it 3 times and got a best time of 16.6 @ about mid 80's I think. anyways, there is these 2 signs that are VERY close to a quarter mile apart, and it is flat all the way, its where me and everyone tests their cars. I got my civic up to about 86 in this stretch and today I did it in the accord, 3 times, and I launched at about 2500 just cuz I got torque now and first pulls though the whole gear, and got up to 90 2 times and 88 once. now i know this doesnt exactly count cuz some cars have more power up top, others down low, and maybe my civic just smokes the accord 1st and part of 2nd, and then is dead in 3rd, and the accord has alots more power and keps pulling in 3rd and catches up (I do think the civics first pulls harder, but could be my mind cuz its so loud and the accords stock, but is it possible for a stock LX sedan to hit a mid 16? streetrcr45 08-16-2003, 01:58 AM well it depends on what year it is... if its a 2003 i think taht u can break the 17 sec barrier... but any other year lower than that im not too sure... sorry if that doesnt help...its just my :2cents: 94tegRS 08-16-2003, 02:08 AM the one i got is 97, and the one i saw was 94 or 95. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
