Updates on the Stuff My Wife Bought Me All Those Months Ago...Lots 'o PicsAsmenoth 08-12-2003, 10:42 PM Well, here are some updates on the ongoing projects that my Wife surprised me with a few months back...and a couple that I bought myself. With work and ordering extra detail parts, things have been going slow. Renesance Trans kit and Studio 27 decals. http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/655200pug1.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/602016pug2.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/204320pug3.jpg And this one is box stock with the exception of the Sakatsu bonnet clips. A little disappointed that the front wheels can't turn left and right though. http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/192107pug1a.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/593980pug1b.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/921378pug1c.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/296102pug1d.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/828382pug1e.jpg This one is almost done, need to finish the interior and install the "glass". Hopefully, before I finish it, someone will release updated headlights. http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/333744focus1.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/516794focus2.jpg Two of three 1/43 scale kits waiting to be build, the one not pictured is a Racing 43 Ford Focus. http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/430084miniresin.jpg Finally broke down and got one of these... getting a "bonus" check helped me decide to get the Hyudai. It's the Evo 3 Deutchland Rally version. Will be masking off the red bumpers and spraying the silver in a few days. http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/750588accent.jpg Sorry about half the pics being blurry. EMAXX 08-12-2003, 10:51 PM Your a lucky man. Tommy Gunner 08-12-2003, 11:21 PM Nice Selection of Kits you've got there :bigthumb: z33guy 08-13-2003, 12:09 AM that focus looks great!:bigthumb: on my list of things to do chipanggo 08-13-2003, 03:49 AM they're all great. the focus is my favorite. IwannaDRift 08-13-2003, 04:15 AM OMG!!!! where can I buy one of those Hyundai Accent kits!!!!!! thakns Asmenoth 08-13-2003, 05:21 AM You too can be the proud owner of a Hyundai Accent Deutchland Rally Evo 3 for the low price of $99.75 from Mediamixhobby.com. They have the kit in stock and are in Singapore, another local option is scaleracecars.com...but he will have to special order it, as he doesn't have any in stock. But he can still get them. IwannaDRift 08-13-2003, 05:55 AM A hundred buck!!! WTF!!! damn, but I would still buy it if I had the money./... Asmenoth 08-13-2003, 02:58 PM Well, the enire kit is resin, white metal and photo etch parts. Those two 1/43 scale resin cars above it are about $45-50 apiece...depending on where you order them. Midnight Racer 08-13-2003, 03:21 PM Great selection of kits.:bigthumb: IwannaDRift 08-13-2003, 07:18 PM O I C, but I would pay it if I could, maybe laters.. I am gonna do a a 4-door street Hyundai (Like my sis's) and use the lancer EVO 5 rear end.. big project for the future I guess.. Asmenoth 08-13-2003, 07:25 PM I don't know if anyone's going to make one, but you might want to wait to see if one gets made in plastic. Easier to work with and much cheaper. SuperStreet reader 08-13-2003, 08:10 PM Originally posted by Midnight Racer Great selection of kits.:bigthumb: :iagree: pettercardoso 08-13-2003, 08:35 PM I assume you're a WRC fan.....:D Great job! keep us posted Asmenoth 08-13-2003, 09:42 PM How could you tell? I thought I was the only one here in Orlando until I saw a blue Subaru Impreza going down the road a few days ago with 555 stickers on the side. Then again, mabye the owner thought they looked cool... Will post new pics soon. IwannaDRift 08-13-2003, 10:31 PM I'm gonna wait it out.. then I'll see what comes of it.. Since Hyundai has had some success with the Accent(I think)..... I will wait maybe a year for a plastic kit, if not then I'll go ahead and get one... we'll see if the resin ones are still availible... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
