Hey, i have 23 - 25k to spend on a car (new or used). Id like a fast car that can be modded fairly easily and handles well. Thanks!

Thats still pretty vague. Do you have anything else you'd like to have in the car? Why does it have to be moddable? Are you looking for off roading performance, twisty performance or a straight line rocket?

The new & used make it a choice between a few hundred models so you'll have to put more thought into it.

sorry about that i was rushing that. I would like something mostly with straight line performance, but I would like it to handle well too (not like old muscle cars). I have no interest in off-roading. I am thinking more along the used lines because I know the new cars I would like for that price. If it is still too vague let me know. Thanks!

I would have to recommend a 944.

How about some more info such as sedan or coupe. Perhaps a convertible? Do you need to carry more then two people or are there kids involved?

For the price your talking about you could almost afford a new 350Z which is an all around good performer. But, I don’t know if it’ll fit your needs. (since we don’t know them yet). For a used car, a Maxima would be a good choice in general (yeah – both are Nissans). People around here like their GTPs which isn’t quite the class of a Maxima but it is less expensive.

Take a look around www.kbb.com at the used car area and see what catches your eye.

It only needs to be a 2-seater. I would rather not have a convertable but I may consider one. So far I was thinking about a mach 1 because I almost have that much to spend.
