Having a little speech-impediment there? Man alright if you want more acceleration just save up for a nitrous kit... most bang for your buck. Cold air intake wouldn't help much... maybe 2-3-4hp max. Exhaust would help some... maybe new pulleys. Not much you can do to a civic lx to make it fast without spending money.

Well, with an auto civic your not going to get much out of it. You could put like a 30 shot of NOS on there. :bloated:

I would stay away from the intake though, unless you are planning on doing more than just that.

Everyones right.. With out spending money your pretty much SOL. You probably should have bought an older Turbo Charged car or something. My suggestion is to save your money till you have enough for some sort of Forced Induction: Nitrous, Turbo, Supercharger.. Thats really the only way you will get better acceleration.

Or if you want to be a dumbass try some nuetral drops.. Thatll always help your take off..

Ok, ok... After lots of thought Ive figured out what you need... Stickers and lots of them... The bigger stickers you get the faster youll go, but the smaller stickers will allow you to get more mods on which may add up to more hp..

Heres the HP ratings per sticker:
1.) 5-10 HP for the little Company logo style stickers that you get when you order something.

2.) 15-20 HP for medium size stickers ranging up to windshield banners, etc.

3.) 30-50 HP for the large ones that take up the side of your car.

damn this thread is hilarious ... why would you buy an auto 01 civic lx when you could get a slightly older integra LS for about the same price and have it be WAY faster stock!

An auto will get off the line quicker than a manual. But without spending money you could buy some 13" wheels and smaller tires and your gearing would be effectively changed and you would acclerate quicker, but if you have ABS I wouldn't recommend this.
