I finally got my 240! Picked up a 93 SE for $700. Its got a messed up paint job, beat up fenders, an interior that isnt quite bolted down, no exhaust, a messed up hood release latch, a window that drops when you press the down switch and is host to a small family of spiders....but its mine.

The original owner couldnt figure out what was wrong with it so it has been sitting in his backyard for 3 months. The problem was simply a weak fuel pump (though he had already put in new plugs, wires, cap rotor and fuel filter). I slapped a new pump in it (thank god nissan put it on top for me!) and fired it up. Those 2.4 liters of unmuffled nissan power shook my rib cage, not bad for 700 bucks. Pictures to come!

Well today i pulled everything out of the car (exept the dash...i aint that crazy). Cleaned the carpets, vinyl, seats and the headliner. I couldnt believe the difference, the interior looks brandy new. I also evicted the family of spiders that called it home (yeah, dont test your AC when there may be spiders in it, they tend to fly out into your face at high speeds). I washed the car, did a fuel injection service, plug wires. and some other random crap. Got the car up on the lift and installed the exhaust. I feel even better about buying the car now that its all clean and shiny.

Now all thats left to do is a valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket (which i hear is a pain), Timing belt, headgasket, water pump and an inner tie-rod end. Then I can focus on strippin down the paint, a bit dent\ding removal and priming it to get painted. I think then it will be absolutly mint!
