Yea the dual cupholders seem a little out of place. But I somehow doubt that wing is used for much more than a counter for mcdonalds when hangin with friends.

ya i admit there's lots of unneccessary items both in and on the car, but nevertheless, it's still a nissan 180sx type X. so i still give it props.

i dun get it. can someone in a brief paragraph, describe what rice is? what if the exterior is all crazy, like the one above, but has an engine backing it up? is it still rice?

Rice has sorta become a synonym for Crappy or Idiot on these boards but i think the true defintion is someone that does something to be trendy some people say its all show no go but to some people car shows are just their think (not mine)

so what about a full veilside aero kit. them things look all flashy and stuff, but also it powered by huge turbos intercoolers etc. so is a full out veilside car rice?

but when you live here and see cameros with 2 ft Type R stickers on the back window of a car..thats rice to me..

but going from what i've heard, the car has a crazy wing, horrid sideskirts and some weird stuff in the interior?

i'll still have to like it because it's a 180SX. rice is definitley rice, but this is rice that can be salvaged. take off the wing and sideskirts and it'd be fine (i'm assuming), plus it has the engine we all want deep down.

as for the cupholders, i'm pretty sure S13's didn't come with any cupholders stock, so aftermarket ones are EXTREMELY common on used S13's in Japan. i tend to take them for granted and find them to be kind of neat. :bigthumb:

btw, a Type-X isn't to a 180SX what a GT-R is to a Skyline. i'm pretty sure that the only difference between the X and other models (R, G etc.) is the aerodynamics and some other trim and option upgrades. there's no actual power change...

NO.. and for the simple reason that probably none of us on this board have the money to buy these Veilside kits. with turbos and intercoolers and whatnot.

it has nothing to do with everyone eating rice, it has to do with alot of asians eating rice most of the time. thats why they are called Ricers.

second, rice is so not racist, I think the asians understand that its about cars and that we don't hate them, now if every other race would stop thinking everyone is racist against them we'd be all good

third, if somebody put those gay freaking clear tail lights with the red middle on ANY CAR I don't care if its the freaking falken 180sx, I'm calling it rice, or if they have a gay apc exhaust and the freaking apc sticker on the front window its rice, and the worst of all, if they have their momma buy them a car and a body kit and an exhaust and then those gay neon lights under the car, or if they have a gay car with a 5inch exhaust tip with no other mods, or those huge rear spoilers for their daily driver that couldn't go fast enough to need them, that is my definition of rice, disagree all you want but I aint changing nothin

A kid around here has a car just like mine 2002 accord and his mom bought it for him cause i have talked to him and he has the same light pattern you are talking about and he has the same 5 inch exhaust and the same body kit and he is also rice. That said i raced him from a stand still the other day with my stock accord (5spd) and i beat him in his weighted down piece of crap (auto) accord and now he doesnt talk to me.:biggrin2: i mean i dont really care about the talking to me part but what a fucking ricer. I only beat him by 1 car length maybe a little less,

anyways my mom did HELP me with my car but she didnt BUY it for me.

no the reason I give it props is because you could easily take off the body kit, wing, and all those gauges and it would be a great car.

There's some ricers where they go beyond the point of no return
