About the SRT-4
Will with the money you spend on the wrx you can buy SRT-4 spend all the money on mods. And if you get the right stuff you can make the car with 450+hp which with this you'd be able to beat just about any car on the street cause it will be running low 11 to mid 10's. I don't know what people have to say anything wrong about this car but with some new parts to replace some stock parts and a stage 3 turbo upgrade kit. You can have one of the fastest cars on the street. I don't know about you but i don't know many cars that can get up to a mid 10 sec. 1/4 mile. By the way uh. When it come to affordability. Well if you spend 30 g's on the SRT-4, not only can u get the performance this good but you have money left over for a body kit, decals, neon lights, and some racing seat with harness. So with that if anyone can spend 26 G's and get me a 10.4 sec. 1/4 mile car without drags, just high performance tires. That you can ride on the street and looks stock. let me know. Cause i'd really like to hear from you. Sorry but for 26 G's you really can't beat that.

youre right, but thats all from your point of view, if i was gonna buy a new car, i think i'd choose the dodge over the wrx, but, if i was gonna spend 30 grand, it would be between the rx8, g35, and 350z.

I'm in love with the SRT-4, but I have to agree with blasian_man. It seems a real shame to me to turn a perfectly fast and capable car into a rice bucket, especially once I've spend $26-30K. To each his/her own...
