joeB 12-31-2001, 03:10 PM automatics have alot of power yet after 90 but the five speed maxima still has more. melteye 01-01-2002, 12:34 PM These "auto sucks" people are pissing me off... Auto's aren't made for pure performance and that shouldn't be expected from them. If I drive in traffic for four hours each day I don't want a manual transmission... that would be a very very poor decision. Autos have their place, so simply put, shut the fuck up. joeB 01-01-2002, 06:11 PM Isnt these forums for people to state facts and express thier opionions? I agree automatics are better when driving in traffic, and Id say my auto is just as fast as a five speed until a certain speed though, but I dont think you need to come and tell people in here to shut the F@@@ up. gang$tarr 01-01-2002, 06:55 PM my car's a 5 spd. and i drive threw really heavy traffic all the time without a problem.... i don't mind it at all, gives you somethin to do instead of being bored inching up anyways it's pretty much just as easy, i just put my left foot in a different place. Instead of leavin it on the floor, i use it to hold the clutch half in... then i just keep it in first gear. and it's just like an auto, i just press the accelerator when i need to inch up not a big deal if you want to be mostly performance based, go for the stick.... if you don't like shifting threw traffic than whatever get what you want but it's a known fact that sticks are alot quicker, so what are we arguing? mtrai760 01-01-2002, 10:25 PM :D Originally posted by irvine78 well..ur little different....:D synki 01-01-2002, 11:01 PM Originally posted by mtrai760 :D What makes you think you are so special? :finger: ;) mtrai760 01-02-2002, 06:53 PM I'm not special, just different... ;) Originally posted by synki What makes you think you are so special? :finger: ;) irvine78 01-02-2002, 08:14 PM Originally posted by mtrai760 I'm not special, just different... ;) he's just a sleeper...:D synki 01-02-2002, 10:26 PM Originally posted by mtrai760 I'm not special, just different... ;) Move to the NE and we would be identical. :D sleeper vs sleeper  irvine78 01-03-2002, 01:03 AM Originally posted by synki Move to the NE and we would be identical. :D sleeper vs sleeper  if we had a poll for SMOTM(Sleeper Maxima of The Month) poll, i'm sure you guys will get the top 2 honors...now..don't fight!! ;) synki 01-03-2002, 09:53 AM Originally posted by irvine78 if we had a poll for SMOTM(Sleeper Maxima of The Month) poll, i'm sure you guys will get the top 2 honors...now..don't fight!! ;) hehe. :) Its all good.
