If someone has a drag conversion of a stock model, please post pics up here. I am very interestedin drag conversion ideas, and would like to see what you have done to make your car a drag. I am working on a S351 conversion, and i hope to put pics up soon :smile:

ALso, i suggest you might try to make a hole in the hood for the engine. Dont take my word for it, i screwed a lot of models like that.

Heres a real drag car. It started life as AMT's 1970 Chevy Monte Carlo Lowrider, and evolved into a prostreet monster. This was a llong term project for me, unfortunatley, it lieson my work bench, in pieces, as i planned on rebuilding it. I eneded up braking the frame off... :mad:

Mods:
-Ghetto ass rollcage
-Tubbed rear end w/ leafs, skinnies up front and monster goodyears out back w/ wheeelie bar
-Hood scoop
-454 with high rise intake-Recently changed out for a Winston Cup car with high rise intake with open headers
-Sparco seat with harness
-Mirage paint
-Some other stuff i prolly forgot.

I forget who was doing an NSX drag car. Looked pretty good too.

The nsx is a great replica of Adams Satarais(sp) car

I suggest searching for the volvo drag car very nicly done.

For a few basic tip probally needless to say but just in case you havnt thought of yet

for wheelie bars I suggest a funny car kit or places like racinresins etc

for wheel tubs I suggest look around in your cabinets to cut up some plastic salt containers etc

chutes if you so decide funny car as well

i have a veilside rx7 drag car,67 camaro,and a 55 chevy that has wide tires and v8 engines in it. i'll post pictures when i find my cam.

CamaroSSboy, what can I say? That dragger is absolutely amazing. Where did you get those gigantic slicks and the front pizza cutters? Did you recycle parts from other kits? Keep up the good work!
