It's pronounced with a long "o" and a short "a".....like COON-tash (almost "tosh").

Whenever I see one, I usually pronounce it "bl00dy hell, look at that!"

It's pretty funny that the car got named that way... if I'm not mistaken, when he saw it, his words were something like: "COUNTACH! Que bella maquina!" (wow, what a beautiful machine)...but it fits perfectly!! Such an outrageous design for the time!

In Europe the car is called Countach (count - ash). From Italian there is no direct translation. It wouldn't be printable as it some kind of swear word. A bit like "bloody hell look at that" but with stronger language!
