Evening All,

quick question, my 1994 325 overheats when driven hard, the car is fine under 100 mph however as soon as it gets over this it overheats (this was tested on a private road you understand !!!!) ;) once you back off the throttle it seetles right back down.... this started after I had it flat out in fifth on the limiter ( not wise, granted, however, it must be done ) now every time i get past 120 the temp gauge flies up !!!.....

Any ideas ???

and all tested was done on private roads gov...

Cheers

God, your a smart one ugly :) Just change the whole car and be rid of the problem :) j/k It sounds like the water pump is slipping. Keep in mind that it should be plastic impeller on those water pumps. I would take the water pump out and see if there is any damage to the impeller and replace it regardless.
