I'm posting in this forum cause I usually take my bimmer autocrossing. Has anyone gone to this event? Its coming to DC Aug 27 and I was to sign up to do the autocross course. But I want to know whether for $40 I'm gonna actually get a chance to fling these cars around, or if its really just some watered-down promo thing.

O crap, I got the wrong month. It was July 27. Too bad I'm still in MI. Stink.

Yes, too bad. It was great fun. They had driving lessons with professional drivers, they had the "competition" course, and assorted other activities. It was kinda like Lolapoluza for cars. They had video games, they had food, they had demonstrations of products, they had go cart racing...quite an entertaining day.
