HELP: INFORMATION NEED ABOUT COUNTACH REP with picsdriftbutt 07-30-2003, 10:33 AM Hi, my names jason and i'm from Australia, i've got a friend who is 86 years old and has a countach replica that i want to swap for my 83 suzuki katana + a cash adjustment, but he doesn't know what its worth and neither do i, so heres the details Built in 95 by a private owner in australia VW floor plan stretched to accomodate the bigger body with a space frame ontop of that 13B mazda rotary out of a S5 RX7 Bilstien Rear Coilovers Leather Front seats RX7 dash Indy drags ways with 225 front and 295 rear tyres paints pretty good except for a couple of little marks. I thought it would be worth around $10000 AUS So i was thinking $3000 change over for my 83 katana (which is nearly show condition) would be fair Any help would be great!! driftbutt 07-30-2003, 10:36 AM more pics driftbutt 07-30-2003, 10:37 AM Last one DI48LO 08-26-2003, 10:40 AM The exterior is excellent. the interior is excellent too, but it would bother me (a Lambomaniac) that it`s not a Countach`s dash. The sunroof doesn`t look good too. Afterall, this is a hell aof a car`s replica, I would give the bike for it. I don`t know nothing about the engine, but I would like a min. 3,5L engine in it. -FROG- 02-12-2004, 05:48 PM VERY nice looking car. Looks stretched, which is good, not short and stubby. I don't know about that engine, but over here in the states, that car would go for about $22,000 - $27,000. Thats if it has a strong running motor. If it is compairable to a slow 4 cylinder motor, than it would go for $15,000 - $22,000. Look on ebay and do a search for kit cars online to get pricing ideas. There's kit-car.com and kitcar.com and a few others, I believe. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
