A/C LeakA-1Performance 07-27-2003, 06:56 PM Just when I think shit can't get any worse, I find out that my damn A/C is leaking. Its getting really friggin hot up here and I was looking to get my A/C recharged but I can't cause the mechanic said the evaporator needs to be replaced. I really dont know if he's tryna rip me here cause I talked to another guy and he said that its way cheaper to stop the leak without even replacing the evaporator. This guy even told me about a place he knows of that does that kinda stuff (air condition recharging and repairing). Do you guys actually think there is a way I can get my AC to work without replacing the evaporator? mattyoung33 07-27-2003, 07:14 PM i say take the AC out all together. It just makes your car slower with it, plus you live in CANADA! Its warm what a couple months out of the year? I live in New Hampshire and ya its hot right now but it only lasts a few months. A-1Performance 07-27-2003, 07:31 PM Im telling you man, Canada is no joke in the summer. Where Im at right now, it gets to 30 degrees celsius and even over sometimes and thats like 90 degrees farenheit. I bet you that we get hotter then alotta cities in the US including the one your at right now. Want proof well here it is. A-1Performance 07-27-2003, 07:44 PM I just picked a place randomly from New Hampshire and compared it to where im at. My point is that it does get really hot over here and that the heat is just unbearable. I need my AC  vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
