ChuckH 07-22-2003, 01:37 AM Maybe it's not closing tight enough? If you remove the trim on the handle you will see the adjutment bolts up in the roof. Mine was loose from the factory and would get lifted by crosswinds, but tightening it up a bit took care of the problem. If that doesn't do it, then I'm sure a new seal is available from Nissan. misfitmark 07-05-2004, 04:44 PM I have a 2000 XTerra and the sunroof leaks considerably. I tried running a silicon bead along the leading gasket edge that seemed to be a bit curled up - but to no avail. Does anyone have a fix? Does anyone else have this problem? Hey Rusty, Another guy I met with an Xterra had asked me the same question. What I replied to him with was; I found two drain ports at the rear corners of the sunroof channel. They might have the tendency to clog and not allow proper draining. There is also a dip of the frame right above the sunroof latch where the water probably leaks right onto the rear cupholders. Well, check it out and let me know if that's the trick. I got my sunroof fix because i thought it was that and spent 100$ on it. Now its leaking again but not as bad i dont know if it is the sunroof or something else could anybody help bluztraveler 03-03-2007, 10:28 PM with your sun roof open look under it from on the roof. there are drain holes at the corners up at the front by the hinges. make sure those holes are not pluged, do or use what ever to clean them, but remember that the hoses that lead out of them are only plastic tubes that run down the A-piller. don't fuck those up or you'll have more leaks in the A-pillers. hope this helps. :2cents: Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
