It's a pattern for the ports.

OMG I've seen the difference between 20b ports and FC 13b.
FC ports look tiny compared to the monstorous 20b ports.

Have fun Dayna!:bigthumb:

your crazy... there is no difference between 20b and 13b ports. The ports in the side housings are the same size.

Anyway, for you non rotary intellects, this is a templete for a J-extend port and a race exhaust port.

Well...I saw the difference on a RE Amemiya video maybe thats why...

It was some sort of port/hole!:icon16: If I can get the link to the video I'll post it up so you can see what I'm talkin about.

Sorry but I hardly know anything about rotaries!:loser:
I'll stick to my 240's a bit longer

Ahh just remembered about this!

between all the 13B based engines (74-78 13B, 84-85 13B, 86-88 6 port, 86-88 turbo, 89-91-6-port, 89-91 turbo, and the FD 13B) there are a few slight differences in the intake ports..

It would be worthless to splurge all the information on this forum...

But, again, there are small differences.. the STOCK FD port is slightly larger than the TII ports, but more importantly the placement of the port is a bit different, effecting port timeing..

the 20B engine has identical STOCK ports (as i recall... haven't had one apart in about 3 years) as the 13BT-REW from the same years.

The J-bridge is way different than any of the stock ports... much larger, flows alot more air @ a higher velocity, idle at around 17oorpm, and peak power at about 9700rpm...

I understood just about everything you said except when you mentioned this -

I have no clue WTF that is.I'm a :newbie: when it comes to Rotaries.

Any sites you would recommend for me to check out so I can learn more about these engines?

Maybe next time I would be able to understand what you say:icon16:
