ground control coil overs?grncivicdhr 07-15-2003, 04:00 PM tomorrow will be a big day, i finaly order my 15" bronze 5zigen fn01rc's from auto imaging. next week i'm doin my suspension. Any opinions on ground control coil overs? b/c thats what i'm planning to get. 3 more weeks and my car will be off the jack stands!! Frostbyte 07-15-2003, 04:22 PM Don't get coil-over sleeves get the true coil-overs like Tein's grncivicdhr 07-15-2003, 04:41 PM i would, but i can't swing the cost of that right now. Sanchi 07-15-2003, 06:46 PM There is nothing wrong with GC's (ground controlls) :thefinger For a beginners suspention setup they are perfect. Why waste $1k-2k on something when your not gona use it. Get coilovers if your hardcore, and go to the track everyday or week even!! I dont see any point in spending that much money on something im never gona fully utilize. Even if you just go once a month or two to the track. The GC's and some nice shocks Koni's or KYB's. Im getting the GC's and some Tokico BLUE's. Thats more then sufficient, for a daily driver and you can still tear it up at the track!! I would love a set of Tien HA's but spending over $1k i dont know, just for the bling bling factor?? You have to be HARDCORE to see much performance diffrence anyways. I also dont like this new fad where if you dont spend alota money on some coilovers your setup is weak :gay:... That $3-4 hundred saved could be spent on my motor or something  :bloated::bloated:  grncivicdhr 07-16-2003, 12:25 AM sanchi, thanks for the answer. thats my point with tryin to save $$ since i know i may only make 3 or 4 auto-x's this year before school. tokico blues where exactly what i was planning on using myself. WhiteBlur 07-16-2003, 12:34 AM COPIER....I SAW THE FN01R-C's FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......you just get to have them before because you have a caaaaar:swear: :( RalphCare 07-16-2003, 06:53 AM Originally posted by WhiteBlur COPIER....I SAW THE FN01R-C's FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......you just get to have them before because you have a caaaaar:swear: :( on the 5zigen site it says the 4x113.5 is only available on 18 inches. the 17's only have 5 x113.5 but the 18's have 9 holes, so that it fits the 5 lug aswell. so unless u got a 5 lug convo. it will probably rub the fender wells grncivicdhr 07-16-2003, 02:42 PM i ordered the wheels this morning from www.autoimaging.com . they can get them for you in 4x114.3 in 15's. they are out of stock but i should still get them as soon as the the first week of august. oh, whaiteblur, sorry about that. i've been lusting over these wheels for a few months now. (only because i can't afford the Advan RG's that i really want). vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
