Yeah, it was discussed in another thread here, the body proportion is off and it has thick icky white metal parts.

Yes that kit is very nice! If i had an extra 200 USD laying around.....i still wouldnt get one, thats way too high. lol Looks cool though!

Are you serious? That would be awesome. I'd rather have a Tamiya version, but a Revell one would suffice. Their Mercedes S600 kit is a decent kit for the amount of parts (42, I believe). I am so pissed Tamiya hasn't produced one yet. Tamiya should also produce different versions, like the SL55 AMG and the pace car!

Same here, I would wait for Tamiya's. But the problem is that Tamiya seems do not interested on passenger car. Tamiya is doing 1/35 tank right now, after that I think they may do the DTM and then WRC. Surely, do not when they will touch the passenger. I want the Tamiya's SL55 so hard.:smile:

If I had the extra money, I would spend it on more than just one kit, that's for sure!
The price is a bit steep for what you're getting, I really can't say much since I haven't seen it in person.

i would't spend 200 on one 1/24 kit, i rather buy a pocher porsche at our hobbyshop for 150 still don't know what to do....
