ThaLegend 07-15-2003, 04:13 AM Welcome to AF... your car looks nice. ghostchild316 07-15-2003, 04:18 AM Originally posted by Soyo how'd you get a 3 1/4" downpipe to go with a 4" exhaust, and dang 4" is big all the s13's come with a black top even if the rest of the car isn't black, so did you have to do anything special to it so that you could paint that part or is it just the same as the rest of the car? The black part on the 240's are big-ass stickers(I dunno what they are made out of)I peeled them of completely before I primered my car thecollector 07-15-2003, 04:22 AM The actual exhaust (whick I will post on my website soon) is 3 1/4 from downpipe to resonator then 4" all the way back. 8) thecollector thecollector 07-15-2003, 04:24 AM Originally posted by Soyo how'd you get a 3 1/4" downpipe to go with a 4" exhaust, and dang 4" is big all the s13's come with a black top even if the rest of the car isn't black, so did you have to do anything special to it so that you could paint that part or is it just the same as the rest of the car? Not sure what ya mean... refering to the valve cover? It comes in red and black.. thecollector Soyo 07-15-2003, 04:28 AM how hard was it to peel off? thecollector 07-15-2003, 04:35 AM Do you mean the trim along the lower half of the car? It peeled of mostly, rest had to be heat guned off. ghostchild316 07-15-2003, 04:35 AM It was a PITA and time consuming. barrigaS14 07-15-2003, 02:37 PM you have the exhaust i want Soyo 07-15-2003, 04:22 PM does it peel off by hand or o you have to heat it or use something to peel it off? RalphCare 07-15-2003, 05:18 PM hey chad, i was wondering how the sr20 is ... how's she feel? im trying to get as much info on the feel of one cause no one seems to have one in my area and i sure as hell would like a ride in one. but that aint happening any time soon. J SPEC SilEighty 07-15-2003, 10:46 PM nice car and welcome to the site  grncivicdhr 07-16-2003, 12:21 AM very nice car, i can't wait to post pics of my car on here. hopefully in about two weeks.. Sanchi 07-16-2003, 07:13 PM Hey Chad Welcome to AF hope you have a plesent stay!!! nice work on your car looking real good. I love the side shot and back shot of the Velside kit but the front is alil too big for my taste, still wonderfully put togetter!! :bigthumb: You;ve done alot to your car what other forums are you on?? mynismo 07-16-2003, 11:41 PM Originally posted by Soyo does it peel off by hand or o you have to heat it or use something to peel it off? took me 8 hours, and there's still some residue there that im too lazy to get off. i'm estimating another 5 hours to clean it completely off. its worth it. use your hands (yes they will start bleeding after about 3 hours), and a lot of wd-40. the middle parts come off fine but what really takes the time to get that trim off is the front and black, since it's on plastic. ghostchild316 07-17-2003, 01:13 AM :iamwithst Whats circled in the attachment is what I took off so I can paint it to match the rest of the top.To get it completely off you have to take off other stuff too. I like the way those Hatchbacks look. I wouldn't mind having one, but I like my car even better :) thecollector 07-17-2003, 02:14 AM Originally posted by RalphCare hey chad, i was wondering how the sr20 is ... how's she feel? im trying to get as much info on the feel of one cause no one seems to have one in my area and i sure as hell would like a ride in one. but that aint happening any time soon. How does it feel? Tell you what, this is how I explain it to my friends just before I take them on a hell-bent ride. Taking a rollercoaster ride, take off is just like that. You get going (the ride up the hill), and then the turbo spools up and wham! (you peak over the top and wheeeeee! down you go with that gut thrill feeling!) Being a passenger it throws you back in your seat getting that gut thrill yet another time spooling thru second gear, then another thru third. You get the feeling of HELL YEA!!:ylsuper: That about sums it up... Any more questions? ghostchild316 07-17-2003, 02:16 AM Yes can I have your motor thecollector 07-17-2003, 02:17 AM Originally posted by Sanchi You;ve done alot to your car what other forums are you on??
