It will be hard because the H22 is not similar to the civic engine, like the GSR or the type R motor. But it can be done. You have to find someone who really knows what they're doing though. It doesn't require major work, but definitly more than a B 16 and 18's. But hell, anythings possible. I've seen a civic with a Nissan SR20DET.

hey my brother is doing this exact swap right now...he bought a 95 civic dx with 170k on it. the swap will be done any day now but i hear that the swap was a huge pain in the ass. i haven't been able to talk to him at all so sorry i don't know more. also this isn't the best swap because the engine is so much heavier. braking and handling will suck with the swap but your car will be incredible at strips

Well, in de SCC magazine (Oktober/November) they had an article about this swap. Putting an H22A in 6th generation Civic. This article covered the whole swap into the details.

The SEPTEMBER issue of SCC details the hybrid transplant of an H22a into a 95 Civic Ex (i think)...check it out, it has a full instuction section and numbers of shops that make special mounts for the operation.

It's a good idea if you have/will have a civ with hi miles and wanna drop some balls into it.

Slam it in, the whole operation COULD cost less than 3Gs :D

Well this swap is hard and will not leave you with AC or power steering I meen that is alright if you want the power. It also has a madd understeer and adds alot of weight to the front, you can not drop the car real low unless you want you motor to fall out. It will all work with the right suspension though.
