Does any one use a short shift kit on a R32 GT-R

I want to know if they are worth it.....And whats a good one to get in N.Z......Prices etc?

umm i see no point.. they have a pretty short shift ..and well short shifters are just hard on the gearbox..

I had one for a GTS-T, but it dosn't quite fit into a 4WD gearbox..

my car has a Tomei one , it was in the car when I got it , I find it is good when cruising but when drag racing I am more likely to miss gears , the vinyl around the gear stick and handbrake tend to wear more with them anyway .

oh and I had to rebuild my gearbox because of synchro noise , 3 , 4 and 5 gears mainly .

Read somewhere recently that they put more stress on the synchros - they need to slow the gears quicker. And GTR synchros are apparently not the strongest ones out there.

C's has a very nice short shift system with an adjustable knob to change the lever height if desired.
