Headlights......theo_6 07-13-2003, 07:39 PM I am having problems with my headlights. When they are on regular, you can't harldy see them at night, and when you put them on bright, they look like they should when they are on low! Alos, my bright indicator is always on whether they are on bright or not. I have changed the bulbs, and cleaned the covers, but nothing helps. Most peoples headlights are brighter on low than mine are on bright! Any help would be appreciated, thanx. By the way, it is a 95 mx6 robflanker 07-13-2003, 10:16 PM agreed. i have the same problem, my headlights r terrible. i have a 1992 mx-6 Any solutions? JJJJJrio 07-17-2003, 03:24 AM Got my 1992 mx-6.. My headlights are dim too... havent gotten around to fix them since I rarely drive at night ( got the harley truck fer cruisn, mx-6 fer work). Anyone got an Idea.. maybe its a fuse?? theo_6 07-17-2003, 03:34 AM The mechanic told me there was probably a short in the wires somewhere, I would just have to try and find it. He wanted too much money todo it, and I know nothing about it myself, so I guess I will just have to keep using my fog lights with my dim headlights......unless anyone knows something I don't JJJJJrio 07-19-2003, 12:20 AM I fixed my problem. Fuse was bad.. checkout the fuse in the engine compartment. Its the third from last facing the car. daze 07-30-2003, 04:50 PM Is it the headlight bulbs or the crappy Lexan lenses. They tend to turn yellow and it seems to dull your brightness. You can get rubbing compound or NeverDull at wallyworld and rub/buff. Or you can go with espec glass lenses or aftermarket if you got the cash. You might try a little bit brighter bulb...maybe 10 more watts. I would be careful going too high on wattage, might melt the bulb housing. theo_6 07-31-2003, 10:08 AM I took the lenses off, and cleaned them about three times, and hte last time I used Neverdull. It made them a little brighter, but nowhere near what they should be. I already tried the brighter bulb, and it didn't help. It is beyond me. Monster4922 02-11-2006, 09:30 PM Try The Grounding Wire/Grounding Things. teqshot 09-11-2006, 01:00 PM did you try the fuse vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
